During the Armenian Auto Show, an unexpected "incident" occurred during the presentation of ZEEKR electric cars on the evening of June 21. A woman claiming to be an “activist” took the stage and poured paint over a ZEEKR vehicle.
It was later revealed to be a performance, with the woman being TV host Hermine Stepanyan, one of the first buyers of a ZEEKR car in Armenia.
When asked whether ZEEKR vehicles are environmentally friendly, emission-free, and quiet, Erik Antaranyan explained:
“This car is electric, environmentally friendly, and has no emissions. ZEEKR’s philosophy includes preserving nature. Additionally, ZEEKR vehicles are silent.”
The exhibition also featured various ZEEKR electric cars. In about a month, Armenian customers will be able to purchase premium-class ZEEKR electric vehicles, officially represented in Armenia by Muran Company.
A partnership agreement with ZEEKR was signed in Beijing in April this year. By August, Armenian customers will have access to four ZEEKR models—001, 007, 009, and X—with special warranty conditions.
Arsen Zakaryan, CEO of Muran Company, said in an interview:
“We can now say that ZEEKR is officially in Armenia. The new cars are en route and will arrive in 1 to 1.5 months. ZEEKR is a major electric vehicle manufacturer. Its greatest advantages are environmental friendliness, affordability, and official warranties. We’ve studied the market, and demand for electric cars in Armenia is quite high. Premium-class vehicles have become more accessible with ZEEKR.”
China's Ambassador to Armenia, Fan Yong, addressing attendees, remarked:
“China’s economy is entering a new stage of development, transitioning from rapid growth to high-quality development. We are actively fostering advanced productivity and striving to build a new model of development. High-quality productivity means advanced technologies and high efficiency. Chinese electric cars, as a new symbol of Chinese manufacturing, are becoming more competitive and leading the way.
