Kuala Lumpur, 5 June 2026 – Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (Zeekr Malaysia) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Handal Green Mobility Sdn. Bhd. (DC Handal), which will see it collaborating on offering Zeekr Power charging facilities nationwide, marking a key step in enhancing the electric vehicle (EV) ownership experience for more than 4,000 Zeekr owners in Malaysia.
The partnership reflects Zeekr’s ongoing commitment to delivering a seamless and premium customer journey, extending beyond the vehicle itself to encompass a more accessible and reliable charging ecosystem through its Zeekr Power infrastructure strategy.
Enhancing the Premium EV Ownership Experience
Through this collaboration, Zeekr Malaysia aims to provide dedicated charging privileges for Zeekr owners by leveraging DC Handal’s expanding network of superfast DC charging stations across strategic locations nationwide. The chargers can dispense up to 400kW of power with the potential of supporting up to 640kW for selected chargers in the future, given its 1.2MW capacity.
The initial phase of the collaboration will focus on providing seven charging stations (minimum two charging points, with minimum 120kW output) that support Malaysia’s North–South Expressway, with plans for further expansion in subsequent phases. This is expected to significantly improve long-distance travel convenience while supporting the growing adoption of electric mobility in the country.
The initiative is aligned with Zeekr’s global approach to building a fully integrated user ecosystem, where vehicle ownership is complemented by reliable infrastructure, digital services, and a premium customer experience.
Partnering for Strategic Growth
DC Handal has been identified as a key partner due to its rapid network expansion and strong footprint in strategically located charging corridors, making it well-positioned to support Zeekr’s infrastructure ambitions in Malaysia.

The signing of the MOU represents a shared commitment between Zeekr Malaysia and DC Handal to support Malaysia’s transition towards more sustainable and future-ready mobility solutions.
By combining Zeekr’s premium EV offering with DC Handal’s growing charging network, the collaboration is expected to contribute to the development of a more robust EV ecosystem, while strengthening confidence among consumers considering the switch to electric vehicles. DC Handal currently operates 250 charging points across Peninsular and East Malaysia.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Loh Yan Teng, Head of Product, Zeekr Malaysia and Mr. Esa Fawsal Salleh, Chief Technical Officer of DC Handal, and witnessed by Mr. Eddy Lu, General Manager of Zeekr Malaysia, and Mr. Lim Kok Keong of DC Handal.
