Kuala Lumpur, 11 June 2026 – At its first ever showing at Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 (KLIMS 2026), Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia (Zeekr Malaysia) is highlighting its momentum in Malaysia through continued business growth, a stronger ownership ecosystem, and the unveiling of two new luxury models: the Zeekr 009 Grand and Zeekr 9X. The theme “Beyond Mobility. Defined by Excellence.” reflects Zeekr’s broader ambition to shape a more premium, intelligent, and customer-centric electric mobility experience in the country.
Since its launch in December 2024, Zeekr has recorded cumulative sales of more than 4,000 units, based on JPJ registration data as of May 2026, making it the No. 1 Premium EV Brand in Malaysia. This underscores the strong response the brand has received from Malaysian consumers in a relatively short period of time, while also reinforcing Zeekr’s growing role in the country’s evolving EV landscape.

Two New Luxury Models Take Centre Stage at KLIMS 2026
At KLIMS 2026, Zeekr Malaysia also previewed and opened booking for two of its latest models that represent the pinnacle of luxury, innovation, and intelligent mobility - the Zeekr 009 Grand and Zeekr 9X.
The Zeekr 009 Grand is a four-seater ultra-luxury MPV designed around an elevated rear-seat experience, with highlights including second-row executive seats with hot stone therapy (SPA), delivering 20-point massage, a 43-inch MiniLED display supported by a 31-speaker surround sound system. The ultra-luxe touches inside the 009 Grand include an 18-litre fridge, and a cabin finished with premium materials including natural marble trim from the Himalayas, and transparent crystal button components.
For the ultimate boss-level privacy, there is a privacy dimming glass for the sliding doors and rear quarter, driver-passenger smart curtain partition glass, and password protected dual-electronic safe. On the exterior, the 009 Grand features 20-inch floating forged wheels and a DARK BADGE gloss-black front grille for a sleek, aggressive styling.
Meanwhile, the Zeekr 9X introduces the brand’s latest high-performance luxury SUV proposition. Built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA-S) platform with a revolutionary 900V architecture, it features the SEA Super Hybrid system with up to 1,030kW of power, capable of delivering 0–100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds, and a combined range of 1,250km CLTC. It also supports ultra-fast charging from 20% to 80% in just 8.5 minutes.
The Zeekr 9X is also equipped with the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) AI Digital Chassis, which includes advanced air suspension, active roll control, and smart drive modes. This system gives the SUV smooth comfort on highways as well as strong stability on rougher terrain.
But what is luxury without safety? The advanced safety technologies under the SEA Safety Armor came to the fore when it aced the world’s first four-way crash test at 105 km/h. Additional new safety protections include crosswind control, side-impact lift, and automatic obstacle avoidance. The interior of the 9X does not disappoint - with an ultra-spacious three-row sit seat cabin featuring Cloud Lounge seats, passengers will be kept busy with a 17-inch 3K OLED screen and 3,800W Naim audio system for a truly luxury cabin experience.
Together, the 009 Grand and 9X reflect Zeekr’s continued ambition to redefine premium electric mobility through advanced technology, luxury, and intelligent design.
Pricing for the Zeekr 009 Grand starts from RM600,000 while the Zeekr 9X starts from RM800,000.
Expanding Access and Ownership Support
Zeekr Malaysia currently operates eight outlets across Klang Valley, Melaka, Penang, Johor, and Ipoh, and aims to expand to 18 outlets nationwide by the end of 2026, including Sabah and Sarawak. At the same time, the brand plans to operate 12 service centres nationwide, supported by improved spare parts availability and stronger service capabilities.
Introducing Zeekr Power
As part of its broader ownership ecosystem, Zeekr Malaysia is also introducing Zeekr Power, a dedicated charging ecosystem developed with its charging partners. Zeekr will launch its first flagship Zeekr Power station at XPark Sunway Serene, featuring ultra-fast charging of up to 480kW DC.
Zeekr Malaysia has also signed an MOU with DC Handal to develop the first phase of seven charging stations primarily along the North-South Expressway (14 bays, up to 400 kW) and at Sunway Pyramid. Over the next three years, the brand aims to establish 20 Zeekr Power stations nationwide, while offering Zeekr owners special charging privileges and exclusive rates across the network.
As Zeekr Malaysia continues to grow, its presence at KLIMS 2026 reflects a broader commitment to building a more complete premium EV ecosystem in the country, spanning product innovation, ownership support, charging access, and premium customer experience.
Both the Zeekr 009 Grand and Zeekr 9X are now open for booking. Pricing for the Zeekr 009 Grand starts from RM600,000 while the Zeekr 9X starts from RM800,000.
