Zeekr Australia is pleased to announce the rollout of OS 2.2.1, a comprehensive over-the-air software update that brings significant enhancements to the ZEEKR 009 luxury MPV.
The latest update introduces a suite of advanced features designed to elevate safety, convenience, and in-car entertainment for Australian families.
Enhanced Safety and Parking Technology
Safety takes centre stage with the introduction of Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA), allowing iOS users to control straight-line remote parking manoeuvres directly from their phone. The update also adds Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) with automatic braking assist, providing an extra layer of protection when reversing out of parking spaces.
Digital Connectivity Advances
ZEEKR 009 owners with iOS devices can now enjoy CCC 3.0 compliant Phone-as-a-Key functionality, offering seamless vehicle access without traditional key fobs. The update also brings enhanced CarPlay integration and improved wireless connectivity options.
Rear Entertainment Enhancements
Families will appreciate the significant upgrades to the rear roof screen entertainment system. The update adds wireless phone screen mirroring capability, ensuring passengers can share content seamlessly on longer journeys.
Child Care Features
Parents gain greater peace of mind with expanded Child Care APP functionality. When parked, front-row passengers can now mirror and control the rear roof screen, access photo albums and galleries, and utilise the new rear-view monitoring function to keep an eye on younger passengers.
Practical Improvements
The update delivers numerous quality-of-life enhancements, including the ability to switch between metric units for speed, distance, and temperature. The dashcam system gains a favourites function and emergency recording capability triggered by the horn.
Additional features include ZEEKR Smart Sticker compatibility (requiring separate accessory purchase), optimised Guest Mode with disabled connectivity features for enhanced privacy, and refined driving mode logic with decoupled suspension height settings.
Availability
The OS 2.2.1 update is now rolling out to ZEEKR 009 vehicles via over-the-air delivery. Owners will receive a notification when the update is available for their vehicle.
